Using knowledge learnt from our heritage in 1/8 I.C On Road racing we introduce this race proven adjustable clutch for our Serpent SRX8GT car.
Using a single adjustable centre spring eliminates the need for having multiple styles of springs in different thicknesses in your kit, whilst ensuring you don’t have that pesky boggy clutch half way through you’re a-main after you broke a spring!
To change the engagement point simply add or reduce the pre-tension using the adjusting nut.
Included in the kit is an ultra lightweight vented Aluminium clutch...

This week end I raced for the first time @ the AMRT track in Anger (F).
Nice facility, lovely organiser and 70 drivers for a club race, that's great.
The club also settled a heat with 10 young beginners in order to give them the opportunity of racing for the first time.

After running the SRX2 Gen 3 since last December, this was my first race even with the SRX8 Pro.... and the first time I hit the dirt of the Montpellier GP.
Bryce Butterfield wins with Serpent 750 at 2020 Steel Series Rd2 (10/02/2020)

The second round of the 2020 Steel Series was held at Steel City RC Speedway in Fontana, California this past weekend. In the 1/10th 200mm Nitro Sedan class it was Bryce Butterfield with the overall TQ from Michael Palazzola on the runner-up spot after the qualifiers. The 15-minute A-main event then again saw Bryce Butterfield (Serpent) holding the upper hand, bringing home the silverware one lap ahead of Brian Thomas. Walter Diaz with his Serpent came in 3rd to round out the podium result, another lap down.

The 2020 Southern Indoor Championship is over. Racetime Entertainment put on another great event! Overall I was really pleased with my weekend. My Serpent cars ran great all weekend!
In Nitro Truggy, I qualified 10th in the A main. In the main, I had a screw back out on my ackerman plate which put me out the race midway.

Vietnam Challenge 2020
Q1 was up. I hit the track, and my car was feeling super dialled. Unfortunately got tangled up with a car over the rhythm section coming onto the straight which cost me some 8 seconds. Drove hard and worked back to within 2 seconds of Hara but ran out of time. Finished 2nd for this round.
Q2 & Q3 were similarly uneventful runs for me. Car feeling great both runs, just riddled with driving mistakes and plenty of hook ups with crashed cars and back markers. I would settle for 2nd in both of these rounds, making the TQ out of reach.
