Thank you for the opportunity to run in the Serpent Cobra Team.
Q: What made you decide doing this ?
A: I saw the whole concept as a positive thing. Serpent goal is to be one of the biggest brands in the 1:8 offroad and it's something I want to be part of.
At the same time I see it as a new revival and a challenge to switch to a different brand than what I've been running the past few years.
Another reason that I switched is the strong relationship I have with the Swedish distributor HP racing. Where the owner Klas will be my mechanic on races next year.

My experience with Serpent goes back a few years back where I started my journey into the category of 1 / 8 PG with a 950R, later moving to 960, but I have to say that this 966 is the best serpent I've ever known. The corner entry is very good without losing grip in the rear, both with or without gas, maintenance is simple and materials are of good quality, having a reliable beyond doubt.
This serpent 966 (which had been tuned and with 2 races by Nacho López) I put on track the first time in Valladolid CE. From the first moment, the sensations were very good, with an easy drive...

Hey everybody!
The first race is done with the new Serpent Cobra car and I'm very impressed with how it works. The race was run in Leipzig, Germany on a giant hobby fair.

Dear Racers,
On Wednesday started the free practice for the German champ until Friday. But the weather forecast said until Saturday hard rain etc. and exactly like that it was.
The practice was very good for everyone... I was always in the top 15
On Friday we took the best 5 fastest laps together and with this result we got our qualificationsgroup.

The last race for the National Championship in Apeldoorn was the weekend for Jacobs with Serpent 733.
A hectic and eventfull start made it harder, but he managed in the last stages to also overtake Claes the 2010 Belgian Champ and take the victory.

Klaus Lechner is German Champion in class 2 on Serpent 966, Michael Salven TQ and Andreas Giesa finished on two in class one, all with Serpent 966

Kyle Branson showed off his great pace again , at the Brooklands race-track.
With his Sirio powered Serpent 966, he took TQ honours, just ahead of Team_mate Mark Green.
In the final he was able to stay ahead as well and take the win in this pin-ultimate round of the UK Nats.
Great podium finish also of Serpent-Mega driver John Carr !!
Congratulations.

Top-level driver from Sweden, Niclas Brunsberg, is joining Team Serpent with the Serpent Cobra S811.
Niclas has been testing the Serpent Cobra buggy intensively at tracks he knows very well and its easiest to compare performance.
Niclas is impressed with the handling, steering and traction the Serpent Cobra offers.
In a few days, we will publish a brief interview with Niclas too.

Alvaro Colombo and his Serpent S-811 Cobra/Novarossi won his third consecutive race.
The last race wasn't a ordinary race, but the second Round of the Argetinian Off Road National Championship. It was a amazing race with the best drivers of this class.

Ilia van Gastel, with Serpent 966, has been able to claim the National title in the Netherlands, by winning the last race in the National series, after qualifying in 2nd.
Great results for this multiple EC and WC finalist, who already won the EFRA GP in Germany earlier this year too.
Congratulations to van Gastel and his team for this great achievement !
