Hi Racers,

This year was the 4th Annual Mugen Challenge Cup at Speedworld Raceway, and even though the track is less than 30 minutes from home, it’s the first time I have had the chance to participate in the race since I didn’t run nitro touring car in the past. With the 1/10 Worlds now completed, I am really happy about our performance there and am looking to race the Serpent 733 even more!
Friday was a full practice day, but due to work, I was unable to get there for any practice. I was hoping it wouldn’t be an issue since there would be practice on Saturday until 12pm. When myself and Rich...

The 3rd round of the South African Championship was held at the coastal city of Durban. The tight, technical track would once again prove to be a test of driver and car setup. In the 1/10th 200mm class, Serpent dominated the qualifying putting 5 cars in the top ten including TQ and 2nd qualifier.
The A Main was again dominated by the Serpent 733’s, with 3 cars in the top 4 places. The father and son team of Mike and Dave Wiseman taking their Mega powered cars to 1st and 2nd places with Mike taking the win ahead of Dave. 3rd place was Daniel Ferguson (Shepard), with veteran Derek Noddings putting...

Saturday morning saw all practice being rained out also, for the first quality track was still wet but only damp so we decided to run using wet foam tires and I managed to take TQ, second round track a little dryer I did not improve but Niclas Nilsson did (Niclas normally an very fast electro driver had borrowed...

Kyle Branson sent us this report on the 7th round of the BRCA 1/10th scale national series that was held last weekend at Adur, just on the coast of Brighton under mostly dry conditions.

On Saturday the traction was quite low at the start but got a little better during the day. My car wasnt too bad but there was room for improvement. Johnathan Dobney was the fastest at the end of the day with a 15.25 second lap with myself and Mark Green following closely.

On Sunday the weather was to change, it was raining very lightly for a while and so the first two rounds were wet or damp which was never...

The fourth round of the National Championship took place in the track of CAPA in Parla, Madrid. On Friday, like always, drivers had free practice. Despite having run a race the previous weekend, the track had very low grip, so we had to make lots of changes to the set-up of the car. Additionally we had to challenge the high temperatures that we were having.
