First time out with the new car, to a Danish race
In qualifying.
First round
the car was a little loose, that lead to a mistake
Second round
So I did make long camber links in rear, Is make the rear more calm and the car easy to drive.
lap time was faster and constant after this change. Got the fastest lap time.
But no luck for me, because I did run out of fuel with 5 meters to the line.
it is close race
top 3 after round 2 is
Martin Lissau 18 – 5,11,328
Martin N.O Hansen 17 – 4,54,232
Claus Ryeskov 17 – 5, 08,942
3 round
I try to get little more run time,
but after 2...

As a final result Team Serpent was able to reach the final with 3 Serpent 966 cars.
Ilia van Gastel made up up way from the 1/16th finals all the way to the final, so a lot of racing for our Belgian Team driver. In the final his quest for the EC title stranded after 62 laps.
Andrea Cristiani and Michael Salven both made in in through the same strong semi-final. In the end Cristiani in 5th and Salven in 6th.
Mark Green and Fantini both in the semi-finals did not make it through ths time.
No real dominance by any brand, as all are in the final and 3 brands on the podium, so with 3 Serpents...
TeamSerpent has put 5 Serpent 966 in the semi final.
Salven. Green. Fantini. Elias and fastest Cristiani.
Other Serpent drivers need to make their way up through the semi finals to reach the main.
Great atmosfere and super racing, Italian style.
Finals have started and more finals to run all sunday.

Roar Nationals
Colorado Springs, Colorado
This year, R.O.A.R. nationals were held at Colorado Fast trax, high up in the Colorado Mountains. The elevation was well over 6000 feet and proved to be a tuning challenge, in more ways than one.
The even started off on Wednesday for open practice. In my case it took about 5 hours to get my engine to run correctly, due to the elevation.
Unfortunately for the engine side of things it really cut into the tuning end of the car. The track was extremely challenging and the condition was one I have not had to experience thus far. The track had wax type...

On wednesday Iia van Gastel and Michale Salven both with Mega Powered Serpent 966 cars were 3rd and 4th fastest.
Also Fantini with max powered 966 car is very quick and stable too.
More updates and images to follow.

We are proud to annouce that former European Champion Oliver Simon, from Germany, has selected the Serpent Cobra to race, after intensive testing at tracks he knows very well.
Oliver will join in for the EC in Portugal and will be racing the German offroad champs later this year too.
Below a brief interview:

The WC in Germany has re-started after the 1/12 final last tuesday in the nearby sportshall.
Now all moved outside for the 1/10 scale WC for touringcars.

Some images posted of the Serpent Team in our facebook pages and ofcourse here on the site too.
Open practise started last monday and the usual guys are fast as ever ....
