n the 8-9:th of May the Swedish Cup kicked off in Vaxjo south of Sweden!
Unfortunately the weekend brought very cold weather around, 5 degree and light rain in two days, not so fun but despite that drivers was very eager to race again after a long winterbreak. After the qualifications result was not as normal as some only drove a few laps to save the cars and test tires for the finals.
The running times of the finals was shortend due to the demanding conditions, in the end the result came out as follows.

On May 1-2, the Mentor On-Road Racers kicked off the 41st edition of the Midwest Series, the world’s oldest! The race was held at the Lakeland Community College, and is always a pleasant return to grass-roots, parking lot racing. The host club did a fantastic job of hosting the event, overcoming just two brief interruptions for rain. The format for this race was 4 qualifying heats on Saturday, and an additional qualifying heat on Sunday. The 30 minute mains for all heats followed.
A little background about myself; I have participated in the Midwest Series for the last 3 years racing in the 200mm...

At the last race for the Italian Championship, that was held at the EC 2010 track in Locarotondo, the Serpent drivers were also very succesfull in the F1 class.

Great results !!!

RC Pro State Series RD#1
Its that time of year again, the RC Pro state series has begun. The first leg of this series kicked off at Lake Park, in Lutz, Florida, a renowned track known in the 90’s mostly for its Winter Championships. The track crewed had changed the layout the week prior and our event was sure to kick off without a hitch. The weather was super warm, only a cool 95 Deg. Fahrenheit. Ha-ha, that is not cool, that is smoking hot and the track was dry and dusty.

The 3rd round of the São Paulo Championship was held on the beautiful Jundiais track in the outskirts of São Paulo City. The weather was really hot and dry .

TQ Flavio took control of the race and had a commanding 3 laps advantage over second place.
Flavio has placed new records...

As standard composite parts Serpent offers the wishbones for the Serpent 733 now in a softer but extremely durable composite nylon, called M for medium. The M parts have more less flex than the H = hard parts.
In most cases the standard nylon parts M, with more flex, will perform best. Under very high grip conditions as well as under very high temperatures the H = hard parts will perform better. As always all depends greatly on overall set-up of the Serpent 733 and driving style as well.
Parts are indicated with a M (medium-hard) for easier indentification. Available as seperate parts and...

Hello everybody!
on the last weekend we were in Locorotondo for the first race of the Italian championship. This was a good a test for the European championship that will take place on this track on the 4 July.
During the euro warm-up we saw a very fast Ilia Van Gastel so we decided to test his set-up. On Wednesday evening we arrived in Locorotondo and on Thursday morning we could be early at the track. We had 2 cars: one with my usual set-up and the other with Ilia's one. The first impression in the morning was that Ilia's set-up was more consistent and faster than mine so we focused on this...

Hello fellow Serpent Racers;
This past weekend we had our annual Sour Grapes Race to hand out trophies from the Florida State Series. We had a typical State Race format, running 4 rounds of qualifiers and then the mains. I should up saturday morning to break in a motor and try some thing out on my 733. I am playing around with the set-up trying to get ready for the Worlds in July. We had temps in the upper 90's and track temps around 140. The competition was good as Paolo, Tosolini and myself all ran sedan to push and see what we can improve. Toso ran his Capricorn, so this helped us to compare...

After qualifying in 2nd, Salven with 733/Mega/Kruze/Xceed was able to take the victory on one of the oldest rc track in Germany, Duren.

Last weekend was the first round of Bulgarian Championship for Ignition Cars.
We had 3 Serpent Pilots, Gabriel Mutu with S966, Ciprian Olaru with S960 FD and Cristi Ionescu (Cristake) in 1/10th with S733.
Very good results, as Gabi took the first place in 1/8th and Cristake took the 2nd in 1/10th. We are pretty bored of Cristake's results, he's always where we expect him to be. On the podium! He finished second even if he run 35min out of 45 in the first gear, his gearbox got locked with dirt.
As for Gabi, he didn't leave any chance to competitors. He started from second position in...
