EFRA GP 1/8 IN FIORANO
Dear Race-friends,
about Eastern we took the decision to go to fiorano for some tests for the EFRA GP and holidays.
At least we had a perfekt time there and always good waether around 20°C and eat! From the organisation was everything like always perfect.

The 2010 Neo Invitational marks 5 years of successful indoor Nitro racing, brought to by one of the latest Media Icon’s Phil Mortstedt. He is famously known for his web site Neobuggy.net, his information and insight help path the way for many newcomers.
Harper Adams Agricultural College is in a small country side town of Newport. , this will mark the site for such an event held in one of their Steel agricultural sheds. They then transform this flat soil surface into a Dirt racing extravaganza. The jumps are fierce, the surface grooves immensely and the nitro fumes will fill the air.

The Florida State Off-road Series round #6 was to be held at Out of Control Raceway in Ocoee, Fl. This year Andy and his crew built us one of the best tracks I have seen them build. It was a fast track with a variety of obstacles from a huge long double to a nice double triple section. Let’s not forget the 30 foot or so of rumble strips. Out of Control is one of the tracks that in terms of challenging reached a good mark. The surface gets extremely abrasive, but also gets very sandy. Paolo Morganti TQ'd the On-road State series with Serpent 966.
DJ Apolaro ( Serpent 966) was also very fast and was within a second.
Paul Ciccarello, who also switched to Serpent 966, qualified 5th in his first race with Serpent 966.
Rain washed out the 8th scale finals so results are Paolo 1st, DJ 2nd, Paul 5th, me 9th. Finals 4 Serpents, 5 Mugens and 1 Motonica.
We ran on the Worlds layout and everyone liked it a lot. Fast, flowing... Fast lap was DJ with 17.7 sec lap.

Last Weekend at the new track in Mattarello/Tn was found the second round of the South Tirol Series Nord Italy.
The run was won from POLISENO BRIAN with Serpent 960 08, 17 years old.
In the qualify the Austrian Champions Wopfner Michael, with Serpent 966, make the new track record with the time of 17.87 and 16 round in 5.05 minuts.

The first round of the BRCA 200mm nationals was held at Stonehaven in Scotland last weekend where the Muchmore GP is usually held and reigning champion Kyle Branson sent us this report.
Despite severe weather warnings the weather wasn’t too bad. Saturday was a wet start but eventually dried out after a few hours. The grip wasn’t too bad to start off with but gradually increased throughout the day. Our main aim was to try and lower tire wear, due to the nature of the track it was very high. My car was good all day Saturday and I managed to set the fastest lap just ahead of Adam Catchpole. Practice...

Billy Easton was able to reach the A-Main final of the NEO-2010 after an intensive race-day.
Saturday night some set-up changes were made which proved to work very well on the sunday.
The quarter-final was a fairly easy win for Easton and was very happy with overall feeling of the car after the changes.
In the semi, as starting from the back, there was more work to do, but a good 5th place finish got him the spot in the A-Main of he Neo 2010.

The Nitro West Masters started with great weather, but was effected by rain lateron.

Easton was able to take 29th spot on the grid with Serpent Cobra, so good for the quarter-finals, together with many other top level drivers. This just shows how high the level of racing at the Neo race really is.
At around 11.00 uk time Raphael Robert will start his 1/32 final and will try to move up through the ranks, in his 15 minute finals.
