Over the past weekend of December 4-6, 2009, we raced in Kissimmee, Florida at the U.S. Open. It started out looking great and the facilities also looked amazing with the new surface and paint.
Wednesday, mid-day was the first time for me being on the track. Immediately my S-966 was really handling good. We were expecting rain but did not know it would rain for two days straight. Because of the delay one round of practice and qualifying were done in the last three hours on Saturday and the mains on Sunday.

Sean Lue took the honors at the 1/8 Factory class in Kissimmee, USA.
Morganti with 966 took TQ position in 1/8.

Serpent Asia, together with WorldModel, will stage the Serpent Asia Tour 2010.
16 and 17 january 2010
All Serpent drivers are welcome to this event.
We expect drivers from all over Asia, including Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia.
Serpent's chief designer Michael Salven will be there, with mechanic Stef. Also Per Ola Hard from Sweden will come. More names to be announced lateron.

Attend the New Zealand Electric On Road or Gas On Road 2010 Nationals which will be held at our local track... The two events will be run on consecutive weekends so drivers wanting to race both forms of motive power can have 10 days of back to back racing, practice & more racing...

Famous racer Jacky Mouton from France will return to Serpent / Serpent 733 for 2010 season onwards.
Jacky recently won the over 40 EC in Spain with Serpent 966/NR in 1/8 scale.
The French 2010 competition is a very tough one, with many brands and many high class racers.

BRAZIL`S SÃO PAULO STATE CHAMPIONSHIP 2009 FINAL ROUND
Flavio Elias is the 1/8 Champion with 966 and Vice Champion with 733 and Fabio Viegas is the 1/10 Champion Category Sport with 733 .
Last weekend was the final round of The São Paulo State Championship 2009 held in Sto Andres Track, where Flavio Elias conquered the vice champion in category 1/10 racer with 733 with in addition record of 14.056, Fabio Viegas young racer for Team Serpent Brazil conquered his first championship in the category 1/10 Sports in a emotive dispute in the final round.

Team Serpent Young Racer Fabio Viegas in the left and his Mechanic commemorates his first Title with serpent 733 in the category 1/10 Sports. For them 2009 was an year of many emotions and fierce disputes until last stage, but Fabio proved to be a very prepared racer for these situations.
For 2010 we are certain that it will be a great prominence in the National and International Championships.
