The final round of Polish Championships in Nitro On-roads was held last weekend in Pacanow with all titles still up for grabs. The event attracted the majority of best Polish racers from both nitro and electric classes. It was wet and rainy throughout the whole weekend. After 4 rounds of qualifying it was Artur Dzierzecki who took the TQ with 733 in 1/10th scale, while in National 1/10th Start class Jakub Franek, two times champion in electric classes, who has swapped this year for nitro, came out on top. In 1/8th scale, excellent driver and owner of a lot of titles, Rafal Zeljas, took Pole Position...

Domenico Calce was in great shape during the Trofeo Nova Rossi, in Cassino.
Calce won the final with his Max Powered Serpent 966 in great style ,2 laps clear of Marco Vanni.
Calce also recorded the fastest lap of the final, with an incredible 13.493sec. This is now the new track record. Last record was from Lamberto Collari.
Morgan and Alberto, also both in the main final, were also fast with Serpent 966 and happy with performance, but less lucky in the final itself.
Congratulations again to Calce with record and win !

Dirk Stammler won the 1/10 scale class with Serpent 733 and Claus Lechner the 1/8 scale class with Serpent 966, taking the 1/8 Senior Title this time too !

Hello racers,
This past weekend was the first round of the annual Florida State Series. It was held in the most southern part of the series at the Homestead RC Raceway. There was practice on Friday, 3 qualifiers on Saturday and one more qualifier on Sunday with the mains to follow. Having just gotten back from the Nationals 2 weeks earlier I decided to miss the Friday and Saturday and just go for Sunday.
On Sunday morning I got to the track very early. I was at the track by 06:50 am and was waiting for the gates to open. I wanted to make sure I could at least get some time on the track...

The race was the 5th round of our national champions series and was held at "ModellCentrum" track at 09.13. The track is quite tight and short, a little bumpy and sugar watered for better grip.

Here are the details for our 4th Annual US Open Championships December 3-6, hosted by Kissimmee R/C Raceway. Remember if you want to bring the family, Disney is only 20 minutes away from our track location. I will announce soon which racers that are coming from across the pond to race with us.
There will be a limited 144 Racers (72 sedan/72 1/8)total. We will crown four champions on sunday.
Factory and Open 1/8 Factory and Open sedan.
All will compete in the Triple "A" mains format to seek the crown.

Team Serpent Ireland claimed two podium finishes over the weekend at the rescheduled running of the third round of the Irish National Championships in Dublin. Racing under beautiful sunny conditions, a rare occurrence, at the St.Annes track Michael Byrne took his 960 to a very strong second in the 1:8 Final while nitro debutant Pat Healy, who is more used to racing his electric powered Serpent S400, took his newly acquired 720 to third in the 1:10 200mm final.
