
In qualifying Cuypers took TQ, but racing was close with also Hepp doing a 14.907 sec, matching Cuypers fast lap of 14.907 as well. So Hepp Serpent 966/Mega 2nd in qualifying and Meister with 966/Mega in 4th.
In the final it was a good battle between Hepp and Cuypers for the first 10-15 minutes. After Cuypers crashed, Hepp was able to continue the lead and top the podium. Schewiola and Vahrenkamp, also both with Serpent 966 completed the Serpent podium.
With 4 Serpent in the final and 3 Mega, a good weekend for Team Serpent/Mega.

Colinet Top-qualified with Serpent 966 at the 2nd french national race of the season in Conarneau.
Colinet also won the semi-A. In semi-B it was Serpent driver Mathieu to take victory and take his place to the main final.
In the final he was able to lead the race and go for victory. A total of 4 Serpent's in the final was a very good result.

This past weekend was the 7th and final round of the series and I decided to just run Sedan and finish what I started. I had already missed one race, so I needed to attend this final race. I had a very large lead in the points as I have TQ'd and won most of the races. All I needed to do for this race was basically just register and I would be fine.

The first race of the Italian Championship in Cassino, was well visited under good weather conditions mainly.
The 1st race for the Serpent 966 showed good performance and Serpent drivers were happy with the new cars.

On the weekend of 5th of April the first Dutch National was up as one of the first nationals this year. My race season has already started for me at the EFRA GP in France 2 weeks ago where I presented that the 966 / Novarossi Flash / Tornado / ATS combination were competitive enough on European level of racing. With a 3rd qualification on the GP right after Pietsch and Cristiani I felt confident for the final. Last weekend we had our first 1/8 race on the ARENA racing track in Athens. The debut of the Serpent 966 in Greece and the first win. No practice was done on Saturday due to heavy rain so we have to go directly to the race. No rain on Sunday but the track still wet. The race was delayed until the track dried. 4 qualification rounds and Sotiropoulos set TQ for the race followed by Farmakis. Total 6 Serpent cars on the A main.

Saturday was a bit of bad day for us until the end of the day, we had radio problems all day on spectrum as well as some others too. We tryed everything we could to stop this from occuring but nothing would work, but near the end of the day it stopped. We had chance to try a couple of engines and that was about it, the car was good though from a previous test-day that we had done. Mark had problems earlier on in the day aswell because he hit somebody full speed on the straight and his car was not right until the end of the day where he got it near to where he had the car before. On the 3rd of april Valentino Rossi was in preparation of the first MotoGP, but instead to test on 2 wheels, he decided to have a go with Serpent 960 on the Riccione track and .
It is not yet certain when Valentino will continue his testing with Serpent in 1/8 onroad but for sure we will keep you posted.

This year was the 2009 Texas Biggie in Rendon Texas, this was the 32nd running of the event. This year we had a little bit of everything goin it seemed, new classes,new faces, crazy weather, and entertaining races.
On the first day we planned three qualifiers, but we had a lite rain in the morning so they gave us more practice and cut the qualifiers to one, In qualifying Scotty Barrera was the man to catch all weekend he set Tq for the weekend, I managed to end up the 2nd qualifier not far behind Scotty. So we had the line up set i was happy to be able to start up near the front.
