This was my 1st ens of the year.
We arrived at the track for the Thursday practice. I spent most of the day running in new engines from max power after this we did a little chassis set up which I felt was a good direction.
Friday .
Round 2 of the MSC cup in SMK Trolhättan done and dusted!
We took all 3 rounds of the qualifications. Car was great but little unstable, we changed anti-roll bars and the car felt more stable and I could there for push more at the turns. Won the semi and was half a second faster than the lap record.

Sooo... Swedish Nationals Rd1 done. 2nd in practise as we change massively on the car.
Had the pace in Q1 but misstakes...
Q2 I was 2 tenths from first🙄 Q3 was awful. But Q4 and 5 was pretty good and manage to take them both, finishing 2nd in total behind the home driver Niclas Nille Månsson.
The car was very quick on the high grip track but rain was near...
Semi was dry tho and I had the lead till the last lap where Jessica Pålsson past me with a misstake of mine 😕.
Niklas Johansson wins his first race with Serpent Viper 988

The opening round of the Galician On-road Regionals was hosted by the Automodelista Vigues club last weekend. In the 1/10th Formula class it was Francisco Bello Calvo with the clean sweep in the qualifiers, taking the pole position from Omar Rodriguez on the 2 spot. The final then again saw Francisco leading the field in all three finals to take the day’s win from Omar on the runner-up spot. Ruben Manuel Aneiros came in 3rd to round out the podium.

Round 2 of the BRCA series takes place at the Halifax track , Saturday is for open practise but was a little limited due to rain showers but most got to do enough running to set up the car, My car was very easy to drive only having a little too much under-steer which proved quite hard to dial out and keep the nice feel the car had, but hard work and help from my pitman we managed to get it to 8th on the grid so clearly still some pace to find , we made quite a few changes before the final which is not ideal but i felt it was the right way to go .
Last weekend was RD2 of the British 1/8th championship at Halifax, unfortunately I struggled all weekend and was a bit off pace compared to normal this was due to having to work all night before the day of the race. Not ideal but that’s real life. I arrived at the track at around 10.30 after coming straight from work so I was super tired, I did some practice and got my car comfortable but unfortunately on Sunday it wasn’t that fast, the reason for this is because I set my car up on Saturday to drive nice but because I was tired that was an easy setup. On Sunday when I was ok my car wasn’t fast...
Last weekend the North German regionals took place in Hamburg at the beautiful MACH-Hamburg circuit. With rain on Saturday and only two hours of practice in the afternoon almost everybody would start out of the “cold” on Sunday. Qualifying in 2nd spot behind TQ Lennart Skornia (Serpent 988) it was Merlin Depta (Serpent 988) who pulled away right from the start. Lars Hoppe came in on 2nd spot with Timo Schröder rounding out the Podium.
