John Sotiropoulos has made the perfect defence of his Greek 1:8 National Championship title winning the final round of the 2007 Championship at Arena to claim the crown for the RCMicroracing Serpent team.
Driving his Mega MF21 7P MASMO powered 960, Sotiropoulos TQ'd for the event ahead of team-mate Mimis Papadopoulos.

It was business as usual for Team Serpent Cyprus driver Nicholas Zachariades as the 1:10 200mm ace clocked up yet another victory in the Cyprus Nitro Challenge.
Driving his Mega powered 720, Zachariades TQ’d his Xceed shod car for the event following a fantastic run in qualifying.
In the final a poor start saw the multiple race winner and championship title favourite drop to second but within two laps he was back in front where he would stay till the flag.

Back in August Serpent hooked up with Champ Car star Sebastien Bourdais and his Newman Haas Lanigan Team Crew Chief Pedro Campuzano ahead of the World Series race at Assen to sample the F180.
Both enjoyed driving the unique 1:8 formula car and are now proud owners of the r/c car.

Serpent British Champions Richard Hicklin and Mark Green gave the 960 '07 a great to finish to the BRCA National Championship with the pair claiming 1-2 in the eleventh & final round at Brookland over the weekend.
Outgoing champion Hicklin qualified fifth with new 1:8 Champion Green the Top Qualifier but in the final Hicklin just pipped the pole sitter to take his second win of the season.

Keith Dempsey, who is one of the drivers that will represent Team Ireland at next month's Serpent Nations Cup in Portugal, scored a major 1:1 scale racing success over the weekend when he won the 1600 race at prestigious Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch in England.
The famous end of season event, which has been running for 36 years, has been won by the likes of Johnny Herbert, Eddie Irvine, Mark Webber, Jenson Button & Anthony Davidson all of whom went to make their mark in Formula One.

Team Serpent Argentina driver Juan Ignacio Matticoli has won the 2007 Argentine National Championship for 1:10 200mm.
Driving his Mega MF powered Serpent 720, Matticoli won the two day competition in dominant fashion winning the 45-minute Main Final by 5 laps from the Mugen of Adrian Castro with Kyosho driver Enzo Branciforte third.
Held in the La Tablada province of Buenos Aires, the National Championship attracted the best drivers from across Argentina and in the final half of the grid was made up by Serpent drivers.
S400 revels in South Swedish Indoor Championship (22/10/2007)

The second round of the South Swedish Indoor Championship (SSIC) took place at the Väst-8 track in Gothenburg where Serpent's S400 EP Touring Car enjoyed victory in both the modified and stock classes.
Young Serpent team driver Niclas Nilsson was the star of the 50 car field TQ'ing in Modified while Oliwer Garant repeated the result in the 27 turn class.
