Next weekend, June 24/25th, the Serpent Nitro Tour makes a return visit to France when Bourg en Bresse hosts a second leg of the 2006 tour.
Organised in association with Serpent's French distributors RB Products, the Nitro Tour is open to all Serpent 1/8, 1/10 200mm and 1/10 235mm cars. The event aims to provide competitors with a fun event and offer support to all racers, from expert driver to carpark racer.
Competitors and visitors to the Bourg en Bresse event will have the opportunity to see the first French viewing of Serpent's new 1/10 200mm challenger the 720. Also on show...

Serpent's all new 1/10th challenge, the 720, will make its race debut this weekend both sides of the Atlantic.
In Europe the car will make its debut at the Dutch 1/10 EFRA Grand Prix while in the US the car will take part in the US Nationals at Crystal Park Raceway in California.
Already proving faster than its unltra successful predecessor, the 710, Serpent has high hopes for its new creation.

In the latest round of the British 1/10th National Championships held on June 3rd, Serpent Driver Development's Kyle Branson performed excellently to once again secure a place in the main final.
Competing in the 65 car field, the 12-year-old from Bulkington set the 8th fastest time in qualifying at the Snetterton track.
With his 710 performing well, the European Junior Champion worked his way up to 4th and looked set to take his second consecutive podium finish when he suffered two engine cuts dropping him back down the order. Eventually Kyle crossed the finish line in 7th position....

Iwamoto from Japan with Serpent 710 raced a very strong nice final (also one hour long, 215 !! laps), in 2nd place behind non-Asian driver but current World Champion Adrien Bertin from France.
Tanaka also with Serpent 710 finished in a good 4th position.
