Great racing, good weather, visits from old friends and excitement highlighted the 2018 Cow Patty at Nuggets Ranch Raceway.
Kyle Phillipps 3rd, Billy Easton 2nd and Justin Fales 1st.
Justin Fales also took the win in Expert Ebuggy with his Serpent SRX8E on AKA Gridiron soft long wear, topped off with the LFR body and wing. His Ebuggy was powered by the TRINITY 2000 kv motor and white carbon 5000 mah batteries. The TRINTY motor fan helped keep temps in the 170’s during today’s blazing heat. We also used the new adjustable 5mm bullet connectors, keeping a secure fit and low resistance adding to lower temps.
Well the 2018 southern nationals are in the books and it was a awesome race and a good weekend for me.
First off the track crew did a amazing job the layout was amazing! I ran Pro Nbuggy Ebuggy and Ntruggy. I would have some up and down qualifying runs and start 5th in ebuggy and truggy and 8th in Nbuggy.
In the triple A mains in ebuggy I would get a 2,5,4 which would give me a tie with Tyler Hooks and J.r. Mitch I would get 4th overall.
In nitro truggy I would have a good start and would be battling with multiple different people I would be in 2nd towards the end of the race but just...

Can’t say enough about my boy Justin Fales. You were blazing fast and consistent all weekend. TQ in all rounds of both classes and taking the win in the 45 minute pro buggy main and the win in Ebuggy at Regionals 2018! Super proud of you kid!
Billy Easton wins pro ebuggy with his Srx8E buggy. In pro nitro buggy Billy finished 2nd.
Last week I took part in the EFRA 1/10 IC Championships for drivers over 40. My last EFRA race was already 10 years ago and I had been looking forward to this race all year.
I arrived at the track on tuesday afternoon and immediately felt the relaxed atmosphere. Lots of old friends I had not seen for years, and during the week I made quite a number of new ones. Fortunately I know the track quite well from previous years, and the recent resurfacing and upgrade work by hosting club RACO2000 has made the track fantastic to drive.
After I competed in my first EC 40+ 2 years ago, I took part again this year. Utrecht is only 50km from my home and I decided to give it a shot. I never regretted it, the week was great, people were relaxed, the club did an amazing job with the catering, and on Friday they even had a famous DJ on the track.
