[ SPT - Serpent News ] Nicholas Lee confirmed for SAC 2017
We are proud to announce that topdriver Nicholas Lee from Singapore will take part in the Serpent Asia Cup 2017 in Hongkong 2 and 3 december 2017.
The SAC 2017 will run 2 classes in GT, the 1/10 GP and the 1/8 GP class.

[ SPT - Serpent News ]: Serpent Asia Cup 2017, Hong Kong
Serpent will be hosting the 2017 Serpent Cup in Hong Kong again. The 2016 version was a very well visited and appreciated event.
The race is a Serpent cars only event , and will be run on 2 and 3 december 2017 at the TRC Track in Hong Kong.
As classes will be run the Cobra GT class in a spec and open version , a 1/10 scale GP ( 747 and 748), the 1/8 scale GP class ( 966-977 and 988) and the 1/8 scale EP class ( 966-E - 977-E).
Some special guest drivers will make their appearance, soon to be announced. ....

The new SPT = Serpent Performance Team merchandising production is delayed.
Both the t-shirts ( which were introduced to drivers at the IFMAR Worlds ) and cap face some production delays, and will only be ready by end of october 2017. We apologize for the delay.

Serpent is present at the IFMAR 2017 World Championship for 1/8 GP onroad in Monteux, France this week.
The suppport is done in coop with ModelPro-
Chaussard and FDL and Team Serpent.
We succeeded to release the brandnew Viper 988 car just weeks before the WC to all the drivers, and the 988 is now shipping worldwide. So all drivers at the WC are using the new Viper 988.

[ SPT - Serpent News ] Cobra SRX8-EVO optional center dogbones in aluminium
Serpent introduces 7076 T6 aluminium center dogbones for the Cobra SRX8 EVO .
The lightweight dogbones/driveshafts for the center transmission are about 50% lighter than the standard Serpent springsteel units. Reducing rotational mass, which will help accelleration and braking.
The light aluminium shafts come black anodised with durable steel pressed in pins and show the length and Serpent logo laser engraved.

Serpent is at the 1/8 GP buggy EC in Sweden in coop with Swedish Distributor HobbyProdukter.
Good luck to the Serpent drivers; Duraes, Mara, Larsson, Olsen, Myre, Wilck, Andreassen, Halsema, Lejuez and others.
Viktor Wilck, Serpents ace 1/10 RC driver, will try his luck at 1/8 buggy again too. Without any prior test or practise the EC will be a steep learning curve. Good luck !

David Ehrbar reports on the ETS F1 season and victory
The prototype of the F110 SF3 was ready just in time for the first ETS race. I was confident in the design, but still it was a bit of a risk to try it the first time at an important race.
It showed the car was great. All ideas worked as intended and the performance was unbelievable.
