BE: The Cobra SRX8-E will be released start may 2017.
Q: When did you start on the actual design of this car ?
BE: The design phase of the SRX8-E started in March of 2016.

Team Serpent was present at the 2017 NEO with some strong drivers, the team headed by Joern Neumann.
GP class:
Neumann qualified direct for the semi final and ran a very strong race to take 11th spot for the main Final with his Cobra SRX8 GP Buggy.
In the main final Neumann stormed to the front after a very good start with a 4th position at some point and a 6th place overall at the end of the 45 minute final. The Cobra SRX8 performance remained stabile all through the final and Joern raced very well !

[ Serpent News ] Anthony Abisset from France prolongs teamcontract with Serpent
Longterm Serpent Top-driver Anthony Abisset from France continues with Team Serpent racing the Viper 977 EVO2 1/8 scale onroad car.
The highlight of 2017 is ofcourse the IFMAR World Championships in France, not too far away from his home. Other races include the French nationals, the ENS races and if possible an EFRA GP.
Anthony works intensively together with designer Michael Salven and is one of the key test-drivers for Serpent as well.

[ Serpent News ] Viktor Wilck continues with Serpent
Serpent works-driver Victor Wilck has signed another long term agreement with Serpent to race the Project 4X 1/10 touringcar as key-class, as well as some races with Cobra SRX8 buggy in Sweden and some races with the Viper 977 too.
On the Project 4X Viktor is test-driver on all the new developments of David Ehrbar, as on-going matter to improve performance and eas of handling and maintenance.
Main races coming are the ETS races, the EC, some AOC races, Reedyand the TiTC 2017 is already in the books. For 1/8 buggy the EC-A is in Sweden,...

Serpent announces that the company BRP Group from Vigo is the new Serpent distributor for Spain with immediate effect.
We like to thank former Serpent Distributor Pro-car and Jorge Porcar for the
cooperation in the past years and wish him well.
BRP Group is preparing all to start distribution to shops in the 2nd part of
March 2017. All rc shops will receive the pricelist and terms around the middle
of March. BRP will be supporting the main Spanish races in all the categories.
BRP will market and support the full line of Serpent cars and parts, onroad and offroad,
