Longtime RC racer David Ehrbar from Germany joins Serpent as designer with focus on the onroad electric cars and will work closely together with Michael Salven.
David has been actively racing Serpent cars for over 3 years now and has done part-time designwork as well as test-work on the touringcar side and also on the F1 car platform in 2015. The cooperation is working well, so we are happy to be able to expand the cooperation to a full-time job.
His main job until now was being engineer at a German high-end printingmachine maker. A very different market, but also a high-tech and innovative...

Hi Michael,
Serpent has now introduced the Eryx 411 4.0.
We like to ask you below questions as the designer of the car.
Q: Is the Eryx 4.0 an ALL NEW car ?
A: The new Eryx 4.0 is based on the successfull Eryx 3.0. For sure it has important changes, but its not ALL NEW.
Q: What were the main goals to develop the Eryx 411 further ? Some specific area’s you wanted to improve on ? Or just faster and easier ?
A: The majority of the changes are of course performance driven. We always want to go faster and it should be easier as well. But...
The highly talented and fast USA based driver Griffin Hanna has been on the Serpent America Team for a while and now joins the Works Team for offroad.
Griffin and his team are known for their set-up ability and the great team-support and help they give to other drivers, sharing their knowledge inside the team.

Serpent and Shin Adachi join into an agreement in which Shin will run the soon to be released brandnew 1/8 GP buggy as test and team-driver.
Shin brings along a tremendous amount of experience in racing and development, and will coop with main designer Billy Easton and the factory to develop the Serpent 1/8 buggy cars to even higher levels, and support Serpent drivers !
