Serpent is doing a full exchange program on the front lower arms of the Spyder SRX4 kits and spare parts.
The 1st production was not to our high quality standards. It had some airbubbles captured inside, but this moulds matter has been fixed and the arms are also beefed up more. The new arms v2 are superstrong and durable now.
We apologize for this matter.
Please contact your dealer / distributor. We can ship the arms to you separate, but hey can/will be included in a next shipment to your dealer

Worlds Japan, statement on Team Serpent cars
There have been a number of remarks and questions about the cars the Serpent Team ran at the worlds. We understand that we have explain the reasons to Serpent fans and others why we decided to run the cars we did.
The reasons are simple, but we understand it created lots of questions, rumours and sceptical reactions in some cases. We do sincerely apologize for that.
Basically the preperation of the WC did not go as planned. We have been preparing prototype cars for the Worlds in both 2wd and 4wd. This has been explained in a publication before...
Team Serpent ready for the 1/10 buggy Worlds in Japan
Team Serpent will use a number of newly developed parts as well as prototype cars at the Worlds in Japan . Main reason for this is that at the recent Wc test-days as well as at the EOS we found we needed to improve our cars to work even better on the incredibly high traction of the astro / carpet in use. Usually the Team runs cars as close to standard as possible, but this special event as the WC asks for a different approach this time.
In 2wd Billy Easton designed new parts for the Spyder SRX2 platform and in case needed we have a another...
Short Interview with Gerd Strenge
Q: Are you ready for the WC in Japan ?
A: Well after the test in Japan earlier this year, and some more races in astro in Europe we had many new idea’s and they all take time to design, proto-type, test and make, but yes in the end its a close call but we are ready
Q: You have been with Serpent before in 2006 when they initially took on your 1/10 4wd buggy design as Serpent S500; how is it to be back ?
A: Its my true passion to design rc cars and be involved in rc racing, and this same passion I find in the Serpent company. I started at Serpent in 2006...
Rc car wizard TomHow has assembled the Spyder SRX4 and made images of all steps according the manual.
Its gives an excellent overview of the whole assembly process. Enjoy !

Team Serpent
For the Serpent Viper 977 ( 977-e) we introduce a hard anodized version of the one-way front axle. The harder surface will make the shaft last even longer.
Bowie Ginting, the toplevel driver from Indonesia is joining Team Serpent Asia.
Bowie is specialized in onroad racing, both EP and GP, with 1/10 TC as premier class, but basically he is good at any class of rc racing, as long as its has 4 wheels !
Bowie will run most races in Indonesia and also help develop the rc market for Serpent. Some international racing in the area will be added too.
