Merlin Depta from Germany is the 2015 Vice European Champion 1/8 scale onroad !!
Starting from 8th on the A-Main grid, bumping up from quarter final and semi-final, Merlin drove a very strong main final, all the way up to 2nd position. Thus taking the Vice Championship title with his Picco/Runnertime powered Serpent Viper 977-EVO car.

This week the 2015 EFRA EC is held in South Germany, Ettlingen .
Around 100 drivers from all over Europe attend, and all topdrivers are present, among which quite a number of world and european champions. The level is extremely high.
Practise started monday and a total of 14 runs till wednesday.
Thursday 2 timed practise runs and 2 qualifiers. Friday 2 more qualifiers, and then lower finals, with the higher and mains on saturday.
Team Serpent runs the Viper 977-EVO. Serpent Germany distributor 2-SPEED is there for support in coop with a regional rc shop.

Serpent is introducing the long awaited 1/10 scale 4wd buggy, designed by Billy Easton.
The 2-belt-driven 1/10 4wd buggy is a high end racing buggy with carbon chassis and carbon shocktowers, springsteel transmission, smooth geardiffs, solid slipper, clicker, hardcoated big bore shocks with pre-oiled x-rings, and a large variety of set-up options to fine-tune your SRX4 car. The SRX4 car is designed as saddle pack version, but with some small mods a shorty can be fitted too. The kit comes complete with wheels, a very sleek, low, narrow body and large rear wing.

Team Serpent attended the 2015 EC in England with Hupo Honigl and Joern Neumann as key drivers, together with Serpent distributor Tony Evdoka.
In 4wd Neumann was very fast and qualified 3rd on the grid. After the finals he came out as Vice European Champion, taking an impressive 2nd place overall.
