Serpent is looking for a new exclusive distributor for Taiwan.
Titan the previous distributor is focussing on its other rc activities. We thank Jones for the many years of cooperation.
The possible new distributor needs to be able to focus on the complete car line of Serpent, which consists of 30 different models in on and offroad, race and RTR.

We have some questions on your superb new Viper 977-e
Q Why did you decide to create a purpose made 1/8 EP car ?
A I wanted to create a purpose made car instead of a modified gas car. I felt that we could have a better CG and weight distribution as well as a more effective transmission
Q What were the key goals to meet in the design ?
A On top of the already mentioned effective transmission and the improved CG I also wanted a car which is as light as possible. Also I wanted it to fit available batteries instead of custom made...

NL: Baggen wins EC Masters 1/8 with Viper 977 (22/08/2014)

Dutch Serpent Driver Frank Baggen won the 2014 European Masters Championship with his Serpent Viper 977 WC.
In a very exciting and close final it was between Ermen, Baggen, Manten and Hasler. In the end it was Baggen who kept his nerves and crossed the finishline first ! His fast pitcrew did a great job with refueling and the tyre change.
The 40+ championship was hosted by rc club de Baanbrekers in Rucphen and they did a superb job. Thanks !
