Serpent wins Snowbirds
The 2013 Snowbirds Indoor race in Florida, USA was a big success for Serpent with driver Marc Fischer from Germany.

Serpent is working on a full line of 1/10 scale offroad cars, headed by 1/10 2wd buggy World Champion Billy Easton.
The 1st release will be the SPYDER SRX-2, the 1/10 scale 2wd buggy, which will be shown at the 2013 Toyfair in Germany next week, and is planned for release in may 2013.

DESIGNER INTERVIEW WITH MICHAEL SALVEN
Hello Michael,
We like to ask you some questions related to your latest design, the new 1/8 scale onroad cars.
Q: How many or even which 1/8 onroad cars have you designed for Serpent since you started ?
MS: The first car I was involved in designing was the Serpent Excel. It was together with the Serpent designer of that time, Ron Ton. Since then the 1/8 cars I designed where the Vector, Veteq, Vector NT, 950, 960 and 966.

Marc Fischer had 2 great race weekend in a row.
He raced the new Serpent 411 Eryx at the DHI Cup in mid january and took 3rd place overall and Serpent had 3 cars in the A-main !
Last w-e he ran the ETS race in CZ, and after qualifying in 3rd, he managed to take 2nd place, equal on points with Volker. The gap was very small only.

The idea
As I signed up for the DHI Cup in the modified class, I thought why not race in the Superstock class too? Normally there is plenty of time between each round, so I would not get any stress to race a second class. My second car I had used for spares, so I needed a car, and then the idea came to me: why not try the Serpent S411-S - the cheaper version of my TE race car? I made a deal with Serpent. I got a Sport and I should race the Sport version as stock as possible. Here are my experiences with the Serpent S411 Sport version.

Check the Serpent Youtube channel for video on the DHI Cup modified finals, in which Marc Fischer qualifying 2nd with 411 ERYX, is running top-3 in all 3 mains head to tail with Volker and Berntsen.
Also Amswer and Ehrbar running in the A-mains with 411 ERYX.
