On the last weekend the racing season in Western Germany was completed with the Nitro West brunch in Oberhausen.
For the Serpent team it was a happy day because two of the top placings go toRene Püpke and Benjamin Lehmann.

Callesen who recently changed to use Serpent 411, had an excellent 1st race of the Danish Champs running in 2nd place.

Top-driver Marco Reiser from Swiss joins Team Serpent 1/10.
Marco tested the Serpent 733 few weeks ago, after having raced the Slovakian car for a few years.
Marco was impressed with the handling and performance of the Serpent 733 Team Edition, and is looking forward to the 2012 season. He already finished on the podium this year, but will aim for the top-spot for 2012 and beyond. Also the euro's are being considered. Team Boss Reto Felix will take care of the support.

This race was a points series over the 2011 year. You were required to attend 2 of the 17 races across the country plus the finals to be in it for the points. After my first two rounds I was 5th in points for buggy and 7th in points for truggy. So now comes the RC Pro National final race held at an awesome clay track called Gulf Coast Raceway/Mikes Hobby shop in Porter, Tx. We ran qual-points with the best 3 of 5 rounds.

Serpent driver Mr.Jang Hyung Wook got the 3rd with his new Cobra in the Kyosho Off Road Nitro Championship

This years 2011 South Island 1/8 Off-road Championships were held near the city of Nelson. The event was the Nelson clubs’ first major regional event held. The track’s layout was very smooth and tight with a superb combination of slow and fast corners with the difficult parts of track also testing the skill levels of all the drivers.
Both Truggies and Buggies were competing at this event over the two days, with all 4 rounds of Qualifying on the first day and Finals on the second. As qualifying went on it started to shape up who the fastest drivers were in both classes and like always brought...

South American Champs
Santiago, Chile
Buggy
This year I was invited to attend the South American Champs in Chile. Since this was not really a place I have ever raced before, I figured it would be great opportunity to see what types of surfaces and conditions others are racing in. It proved to be quite the experience; the track was freshly built out of what I would call farm soil. The track was in the country next to a field that presumably was unpacked and never scene chemicals to hold it together.

Last weekend, 5th round of competitive Madrid Championship was held at ARAH track.
Some of the best drivers of Spain, including five of the twelve Spanish Finalist Championship drivers, were taking part in the event.
Alberto Garcia managed his Cobra811 to get enough points to retain the title he already won last year, improving the performance from last season, and securing the title with still one round to go!
With this new title for Serpent, Alberto García is finishing the season on fire, after finishing second at 4rd Rd. Nationals Champs close to win, and being Madrid Champion twice...

Billy Easton was Top Qualifier in Buggy at the FAMAR 2011 race in Chile with Serpent Cobra Buggy.
In the final the track was becomming very hard to race, and it was hard to push the car to the limit. In the end Easton managed to obtain 2nd place behind Jesse Robbers also from USA.
Reports to follow.

The trophy Novarossi which was held last week in Gubbio, in the same run of the 2009 European Championship.
The race was a huge success, 150 members, and 112 participants, divided into two categories 1/8 and 1/10.
In 1/10 pilots participated as Spataro and Balestri. On Saturday, there were three heats of qualifications where for various misfortunes we were second behind Spataro, but in the second round we have set a new lap record abbot 15,517 the old record, I have always done well for 4 / 10.
