It's not easy to write a race report when actually a race did not go as you planned. You may think that since you did not won, or at least be on the podium, is hard to report about it, the possible excuses, the blames, etc.
This could be somehow easy, but actually the most difficult part is to analyze and understand chronologically what happen, why it happen and what to do in order to improve.
Many things happen at a World Championship event........ Wait a minute...I could actually go on an write a manual about the WC experience, but i don't think is the proper time. I will rather describe...
Serpent Cobra Truggy 1/8; ready and out for delivery (09/05/2011)

The Serpent Cobra gas powered Truggy, the Cobra-T is ready for release to the market.
The 1st production run is shipped to Serpent distributors 1st and 2nd week of may, so should arrive to drivers before mid may 2011.
A 2nd production run is in the works and will be shipped out mid may to cover initial demand.

Rene Pupke puts Serpent 733 on the podium in 3rd place after 45 minute final and one tyre-stop.
Overall 3 Serpent 733 in the main final, so an excellent result.

EC-B 1/10 GP: Toni Gruber 2011 Junior European Champion with 733
Gruber finished the EC in the semi-final, and in the end in 14th place overall.
He had the speed to enter the Main final easy, but somehow the tank-cap pull-wire got around the cooling-head after a pitstop, which made the engine run rich, the fuel to spill out and empty the tank too fast.
Still an excellent performance of this great young driver. Congratues.

I am happy to tell you that I have won the 2011 New South Wales IC State Champs 1/8th scale using the 966 evo and team-mate Tommy Lee in 8th .
I won it by almost 4 laps from Stewart Grant and Ashley Seward and Peter Jovanovic. Please find attached photos of the winning smile!

Branson was able to TQ and win the 1st 1/8 scale BRCA National with Sepent 966, just fresh back from the IFMAR Worlds.
