2006 NITRO TOUR TO KICK OFF IN HONG KONG (03/01/2006)

Hong Kong will play host to the opening leg of the 2006 Serpent Nitro Tour. Over 100 drivers will take part in the two day event at the ACO Racing Track this weekend (January 14-15).

Organised by Serpent's Asian distributor, World Model, the event will see racer from Hong Kong, Thailand, Macau, China, Indonesia and Malaysia race in both 1/8 and 1/10 200mm.

One of the youngest drivers who will compete in the Serpent Nitro Tour Hong Kong is 9 year old Arya from Indonesia. It is going to be a very busy weekend for this promising young racer as he is set to race both 1:10 and 1:8 Serpents.

On hand to assist the large field of competitors will be an impressive line of World class Serpent drivers. Chief Serpent designer Michael Salven will be joined by Italian stars Massimo Fantini and Fabio Domanin along with former Dutch champion Richard Keur and Sweden's Per Ola Hard.

The ACO Racing Track layout
