Salven was able to set the pace in qualifing on the very technical track in Beaumont.
A big thanks to the organising club to stage the 1st 2006 EFRA GP. All racers seem very eager to start the season again and test the newly found idea's from wintertime.
Serpent gathered a good number of drivers to use this early race to share lots of info and work together on S960 set-up. Bestel, Cardot, Green, Cuypers, Geisendorf to name a few.
Also 2 young drivers of the SDT (Serpent Development Team) are present, Cabezas from Spain and Brixner from Germany. More about SDT soon.

Salven was very happy with his Serpent 960 car set-up. Even there was very limited time for practise due to the wet mornings.
A few small new things were tested, but a little early to report about that yet. The RCC shocks in the rear in lowest upper position is working best now on most tracks.
More details on set-up in the download section of this race on monday.
Serpent Team drivers were using Mega ZX and Mega MF in different sessions. Both perform really well, but for qualifying the Mega ZX, now in DSII version, has the advantage of lower fuel consumption (Runnertime), so no trouble with doing 5 minutes. Salven could even do 2 extra laps after the heat, always using the 2033 pipe and conical header.
More inside info by Salven on monday/tuesday.
