GP France: Serpent drivers put 5 cars in the final (26/03/2006)

Mark Green takes 2nd place and Salven 4th place in the GP final.
Mark Green (S960/MegaZX) was at a blistering pace right from the start, but some carburation issues and a glowplug failure made him drop back a little in the 2nd part. Based on laptimes and overall speed he was certainly the fastest finalist.
Salvens (S960/MegaZX) car did not feel as easy as the perfect car he had in qualifying, which made it harder to to follow the pace in the 45 minute final. A tricky tire-change did not help either . In the end just a few seconds behind 3rd placed Volta and a lap on the winner.
Carlos Peracho (ES/S960) drove a steady semi and made it to the final. Same for Markus Geisendorf (CH/S960) and Brixner (D/S960/MegaZX)
