SDD SIGNING CABEZAS DOMINATES SPANISH NATIONALS OPENER (03/04/2006)

'Serpent Driver Development' signing Oscar Cabezas got his 2006 championship campaign off to a perfect start over the weekend when he dominated the opening round of the Spanish 1:8th National Championship in Madrid.

Driving his Serpent 960 powered by Mega's new ZX21 DSII, the 19 year old secured pole position Sunday's final with a new lap record time.

Switching to another of Mega's new engines, the ZX21 MF, for the final the SDD racer stormed to a convincing victory taking fastest lap and finishing two laps ahead of his nearest rival.

The second round of the National Championship takes place at Zaragoza on May 14th when Oscar will be looking to continue his fine form.
