The opening race of the six round Dutch Serpent Series took place over the weekend at the Baanbrekers circuit in southern Holland and it was Rik Veenma (NK Klasse) and Miquel Hereijgers (Nomac Klasse) who took top honours.
The regining Serpent Series Champion of the Nomac Klass, Rik made the perfect start to his NK graduation for 2006 to secure maximium points ahead of Jeroen Janken - runner up in the 2005 NK Series standings.
It was also a perfect start for Serpent Series newcomer Miquel Hereijgers who won the Nomac Klasse ahead of Joey Sorber and Sander de Graaf.
The Series travels to REAL80 for Round 2 on May 14.
