Serpent Nitro Tour to visit Great Britain

If you are a Serpent owner then you won’t want to miss the Serpent Nitro Tour ‘Great Britain’ on July 1/2 at Halifax. Now in its second year, the Serpent Nitro Tour has been a huge success as it tours the world and once again it’s the turn of the British Serpent community to enjoy the experience.

Serpent in conjunction with ELITE RC RACING have a number of exciting race formats up their sleeves and are encouraging drivers of all levels, from parking lot racer to expert, to come along and join in the fun.

Open to owners of any Serpent 1:8th, 1:10th 200mm, 1:10th 235mm scale cars, the event offers racers the opportunity to work with members of the Serpent race team. Factory drivers Michael Salven and Mark Green will be on hand to help with car set-up and other aspects of the sport. Saturday will be dedicated to open testing while Sunday will see all drivers compete in a series of races, the winning driver of each class will become the 2006 Serpent Nitro Tour ‘Great Britain’ Champions.

We will also be running a 1:10th 200mm Race Truck class, this is after its successful debut last year in Belgium and The Netherlands, where drivers where pleasantly surprised by the handling of the rather square shape body, the trucks are set to once again provide plenty of close race action in Halifax.
