NEW BOY PAPACHRISTOS MAKES HIS MARK IN GREEK SERIES (16/05/2006)

Serpent Series newcomer Vagelis Papachristos has won the second round of the Greek Serpent Series (7th May) and now leads the standings from regining champion Mimis Papadopoulos.
Not only did Papachristos take top honours in the Serpent Series at the R1 circuit but the Athens driver took his 960/Mega comibination to overall victory in the second round of the Greek 1/8th National Chamionship.
Taking his first podium of 2006 with second in the Series, Kiriakos Anastasiadis also performed brilliantly in the National Championship to finish 3rd making it two Serpent 960s on the podium. Completing the Serpent Series podium was 2005 Champion and round 1 winner Papadopoulos who now trails Papachristos by one point.
Organised by RC Microracing, the Greek Serpent Series takes a one month break before travelling to Patra on June 18 for Round 3 of well run 7 race Series.
