Gerhard Kandelhart produced a superb double victory for Serpent in the latest round of the Austrian National Championships at Nußdorfring near Salzburg on Sunday.  The event attracted over 50 drivers.

The former European 235mm Champion overcame very wet conditions to steer his 960 to victory in the 1/8 final and then he repeated the feat with his 710 in 1/10 class after team mate Daniel Tomaschko suffered gearbox trouble while leading.

Also on the podium at Nußdorf for Serpent was Peter Grandinger with his 960/Mega combination finishing 3rd in the 1/8th final.

The Austrian National Championship moves next to very fast Aspern circuit near Vienna in 3 weeks time.
