STRONG SERPENT ENTRY FOR SWEDISH GP (07/06/2006)

This weekend Sweden will host the 4th of this years EFRA 1/8th Grand Prix events at the Staffanstorps circuit near Malmö. Attracting 48 drivers representing 8 different countries, the GP includes a strong line-up from Team Serpent who are using the event to prepare for next month's European Championships at the track.

Heading the Serpent 960 challenge are factory drivers Michael Salven (Germany), a former European Champion, and Mark Green (UK) the current 1/10 European Vice-Champion. They will be joined by team drivers Steven Cuypers (Belgium) and local star Mikael Fransson.

Racing at the Swedish GP is part of Team Serpent's preparations for the 1/8th European Championship and the team will stay on at Staffanstorp to conduct two days of additional testing when they will be joined by Italian factory drivers Massimo Fantini and Fabio Domanin.
