At the half way point in the 2006 Series 67 drivers have competed and the leaders are as follows 1/8th Scale John Carr, 235 Super GT Phil Edwards, 200mm Touring Car Adam Catchpole.
Going into the 2nd half of the Series drivers will start to drop their low scores, only the
best 4 results will count. The tension is starting to build with the leading contenders having their eyes firmly fixed on a NEW kit for 2007 (1st Prize in each class)
John Carr has lead the series from the 1st round with Chris Edwards, Ian Campbell and Merv Marshall only a few points behind.
Phil Edwards is the current leader of the series with Bob Harley and Max Crossland 2nd and 3rd. The early leader John Withington had to miss one of the rounds due to his family being increased Congratulations to John and his wife on the birth of a son, now down to the real business!
Young Adam Catchpole took lead back at Ashby last weekend from Andrew Leach. Peter Watt is now in 2nd place with Andrew Leach and Mark Christopher in joint 3rd place.
Two of our new young drivers had a good day at Ashby last weekend both coming away with a 3rd place trophy.
Both just missed out on the A Final so they offered to pit for Snetterton winner Mark Gilliland. The young lads did an excellent job and Mark finished in 3rd place overall.
