HALIFAX HOSTS UK NITRO TOUR THIS WEEKEND (27/06/2006)

The Serpent Nitro Tour will descend on the Halifax circuit in the United Kingdom this weekend (July 1/2nd). A big success on its visit last year, the event is all about offering competitors with an event that is both fun and varied.

Once again Serpent Motorsport have an exciting race format up their sleeves that will see each competitors race over a number of point scoring races. Free practice is scheduled for all day Saturday.

Catering for Serpent 1:8th, 1:10th 200mm and 1:10th 235mm cars, the event offers racers the opportunity to work with members of the Serpent race team. Factory drivers will be on hand, including the Richard Keur and Mark Green, to help with car set-up and other aspects of the sport.

Making it UK Nitro Tour debut, a seperate race will run for the unique Serpent Race Truck body which has proved a big hit with competitors at other Nitro Tour events across Europe. This is in addition to the 1/8th, Touring Car (1/10th 200mm) and Super GT (1/10 235mm) classes.

Competitors and visitors to the Halifax event will have the opportunity to see Serpent's all new 720 which made a stunning debut over the weekend winning both the US Nationals and the Dutch EFRA GP.
