BUMOD Race Track Opened with a great race

BUMOD Track opened with a race on 4th July in Bursa Turkey. Altohugh it is a new track, cleaning of the track was so good that there was not a great problem on traction.

1/8, 1/10 and 1/5 scales raced in the same they. Due to new software and lack of prework for the race, there were some troubles for racers. However, since it is an opening race and everybody was there for fun problems resolved within the day.

30mins of final started with the lead of Gerhard KANDELHART. Within the first lap TeamGO pilot Ozgur DERIN passed Daniel TOMASCHKO and took the second position. First 10 mins there was no change in the order. Gerhard leads, Ozgur in the second Daniel third and other TeamGO pilot Gökhan GENCER as 4th. All 4 leading pilots were using their 710s. After the 2nd pit stop Ozgur lost his rear belt and forced to continue last 18minutes as a FF car. This slowed him down and Daniel took the second position easily and started to head off with Gerhard. 3mins to finish Gokhan's engine died and lost his place and finished as 5th.

2mins to finish due to marshal error Daniel involved in a great crash. There were 2mins left and Ozgur should have made 6laps for the second postion with a front wheel drive 710 in a track which had a best time of 19sec. It was almost a miracle and miracles don't happen everyday. TeamGO pilot Ozgur couldn't made enough laps and race finished as below

2. Daniel TOMASCHKO Team Serpent / 710
3. Ozgur DERIN Team GO / 710
