ANASTASIADIS BECOMES LATEST GREEK SERIES WINNER (19/07/2006)

The fourth round of the Greek Serpent Series travelled to the new Patra circuit over the weekend and once again the competitive Series produced a new winner, Kiriakos Anastasiadis becoming the fourth different winner of the season.


Anastasiadis' win moves him to the top of the standings by a single point over 2005 Series Champion Mimis Papadopoulos who could only manage 5th on this occassion.  Joining Anastasiadis on the podium was Vagelis Papachristos, winner of Round 2, and Gustav Penka who held off the challenge of his father Thomas to claim his first top three finish.


Organised by Micro RC Racing, the 2006 Greek Serpent Series continues to grow with a number of new drivers joining at Patra including local Serpent dealer team XTREME Models.


The fifth race of the seven round Series takes place on September 3rd at the Arena circuit.
