1/8th Serpent Series Results (27/07/2006)

Round 4 was run at Crystal Palace London, a very fast and technical circuit situated within the national sports centre. 49 Drivers attended, the weather was very hot 28c and the sun shone ALL weekend.

Current Championship leader John Carr was finding the track and the track markers very demanding and only managed to qualify in 6th place.
Young Ian Campbell from Ireland took TQ in the Serpent Series and Mark Green took overall TQ for the meeting with his Mega DS11 powered 960.

Ian drove an excellent 30 minute final to finish 3rd overall and taking full points in the Serpent Series, James Connolly was 2 laps behind in 4th place overall and 2nd position in this Serpent Series round.

John Carr still heads the series with Ian Campbell 2nd and Chris Edwards dropping to 3rd place.
