Details of Venue
Kissimmee Rc Raceway
The Kissimmee RC Raceway track is located on a retired runway used for World War 2 airplanes. It is nestled in the Orlando/Kissimmee tourist district, which offers excellent restaurants, night-time entertainment and Disney vacations. While participants race the event, family members can enjoy attractions like Disney, Epcot, MGM, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios and Sea world. Located in Kissimmee, the track is15 minutes from the attractions and 30 minutes south of the Orlando International Airport (MCO).
The track is located on the Kissimmee Golf course property. Right next door, is the Kissimmee Municipal airport, which is a private airport where enthusiasts fly old war planes and private jets. During racing participants are wowed by the old planes and private jets that occasionally fly over the track. The track has been built on an old landing strip used by the military back in the 40s, 50s and 60s.
This track was built 3 years ago with the purpose of nitro racing of all kinds. The track is 250ft by 100ft and features a rolling length of 1050 feet and a track width of 15 feet. K-raceway is a high speed track, with good flowing turns and great traction. The curbing allows for low impact excursions outside of the running line. The drivers stand is over 12 ft high with an unobstructed view of the entire track area.
Kissimmee has been the host to the 2004 IFMAR 1/10th and 1/12th Electric Worlds and 2005 ROAR Open Fuel Nationals as well as many ROAR Region 4 races and FORGASS series events.

Details of Qualifying
The rounds of qualifying will follow the IFMAR Worlds format.
The Separation rounds for 200mm Sedan goes as follows: The top thirty drivers in qualifying after 2 rounds will be separated into a Factory class and racers falling in the range of 31-90 will be setup to run the Open sedan class. The next 6 rounds will establish the position of all drivers in the mains using rocket round. (Masters Class Excluded)
Wild card spots: The open class has 4 wild card spots. These spots give drivers qualifying in the open class to a second chance to make the Factory semi-finals. The guidelines for a wild card spot to bump-up into the Factory semi-finals are as follows:
1. Their qualifying time must be faster than the time of a driver qualifying in the Factory class, bumping down the slowest racer in the factory class to the Open class wild card slot.
2. Bumping up to the Factory class is an option of the driver who falls into the Wild card spot. The wild card spot can only bump-up as high as the A and B Semi finals.
The Qualifying rounds will be a minimum of 4 rounds with a maximum of 6 rounds used to position drivers using fastest round for the IFMAR Christmas tree mains. The standings will be decided by rocket-round (time based). There will be a re-sort after every day of qualifying to establish the next days racing order.
The six fastest drivers of each class automatically make it into the final. The following 6 racers to make up the Final come from each of the two semi-finals.

IFMAR rules will be used and the Christmas tree finals will be the format.
The fastest 6 drivers automatically make the final and the remaining 6 drivers will race in the 2 semis to participate in the final. This applies to 200mm sedan.(masters excluded)
