Things turned out to its best today, really nice weather all day meaning that all heats from yesterday will be counted.
After round 3 and 4 today, it is Daniele Ielasi from Italy who is on TQ after his fast run from the 2:nd round yesterday, only one tenth ahead of Lamberto Collari.
Serpent’s Michael Salven was on a good pace in the 3:rd round but a small mistake in the chicane made him loose some seconds and also the spot among the top 4, same happened to Adrien Bertin in round 4. The fast chicane is a tricky one, if you take it right you can gain some time but it is also a place where you can loose valuable time. Team Serpent driver Mikael Fransson had a very good 3:rd round giving him the 5:th fastest time overall, well done Micke!
The racing competition is very strong, all the 17 first driver have made 20 laps on this demanding track, meaning that all these drivers are within 6-7 seconds. All the top ten drivers are within 4 seconds, that is close racing….
So tomorrow the day will start with the first 1/32 finals and then move upwards, today only the two 1/64 finals were running after the qualifications.
For sure all the finals will show some really fun and close racing, with many good drivers.
