2006 DUTCH XRAY CHALLENGE (05/09/2006)

The Dutch Xray Challenge took place at RACO 2000 in Utrecht on Sunday and although rain greeted competitors as they arrived this didn't dampen their enthusiasm to go racing.

Organised by Serpent Benelux, the event had classes for 190mm Stock, 190mm Modified and 1:12 T1M cars, with each driver taking part in 5 point scoring races. The best 4 of which counted towards the final standings.

Jilles Groskamp was on hand to provide technical support and also proved very useful at clearing standing water from the track.

In afternoon the track began to dry and in the end victories went to Nick Joosens (190mm Modified), Jan Mekenkamp (190mm Stock) and Alexander Roeleveld (1:12 T1M).

The event hosts, RACO 2000, made everyone feel very welcome and already Serpent Benelux is looking forward to returning with a bigger and better 2007 Xray Challenge.
