SERPENT 720 CROWNED TURKISH NATIONAL CHAMPION (06/09/2006)

Serpent's 720 has won the Turkish 1:10 National Championships. Run over three legs, Ozgur Derin claimed the title when he steered his 720 to victory in the final leg of the championship that took place at Bursa.

Starting his campaign with the 710, Derin took second in the opening leg and victory in Leg 2 at Ankara. Switching to the new 720 for the final leg, Derin's win at Bursa adds another debut victory to the list of impressive achievements for the Rene Cornella designed car.

Derin, who has also claimed the Turkish National EP Crown, set new track records on each leg of enroute to winning the 1:10 nitro title.
