HICKLIN TAKES MENDIP WIN - TITLE GOES TO THE WIRE (20/09/2006)

Richard Hicklin took Serpent's fourth BRCA Championship race victory of the season over the weekend when he won the penultimate round at Mendip.



Starting from fourth on the grid, Hicklin steered his Mega powered Serpent 960 to a 1 lap victory over Dave Dixon and now lies second in the standings behind team-mate Tim Wood who endured a tough weekend.



Also in the A final driving Serpent's 960 were Gareth Bell, winner of the previous round at Halifax, Glyn Beal and John Carr.



With the ninth and final round taking place at Tibshelf on October 8th, their are four drivers still in the hunt for the title with Wood and Hicklin carrying the hopes of Serpent.
