720 WINS JAPANESE NATIONALS IN HANDS OF YOUNG GUNS (27/09/2006)

Serpent's 720 is the 2006 JMRCA 1/10 GP Touring Sportsman Class Champion. Thanks to the talented driving efforts of young guns Shinnosuke Yokoyama and Takehiro Terauchi the car TQ'd and won the annual event.
14-year-old Terauchi secured pole with fellow 720 racer Yokoyama lining up alongside him on the front row of the grid.
In the race 13-year-old Yokoyama got the better of pole starter Terauchi to lead home a superb Serpent 1,2. The result also marks out these two promising young racers as future stars of the sport.
Open to privateer drivers, the 2006 JMRCA 1/10 GP Touring Sportsman Class Nationals attracted a strong 73 car entry.
