'Serpent Driver Development' racer Kyle Branson brought his 2006 1:10 BRCA National Championship to a successful close by once again making the A final.

Held at Cotswolds, the final round attracted 63 entries and saw Branson, fresh from the Worlds in Australia, help secure an all Serpent 720 front row for the top final.  Setting the second fastest time, the European Junior Champion just missed out on the TQ to the similar car of Chris Slater.

In the race Kyle suffered a collision at the start which knocked the front steering arm off ending any chance of victory.  Having lost 2 laps which the steering was fixed Kyle put in a steady recovery drive that saw the youngster climb back up the order from last to eventually finish a strong 6th.  Slater took the win to round off a successful campaign for the 720.
