SERPENT/MEGA CROWNED BRITISH 1:8 CHAMPIONS (10/10/2006)

HICKLIN AND WOOD TAKE SERPENT & MEGA TO BRCA CHAMPIONSHIP 1, 2

Serpent's 960 is the 2006 British BRCA 1:8 National Champion. Elite RC team driver Richard Hicklin secured the title with a podium finish in the final round of the championship at Tibshelf over the weekend.

Finishing the race behind Serpent team driver and pole starter Mark Green, second was enough for Hicklin to secure the title from his Elite RC team mate Tim Wood for the perfect finish to a superb season for Serpent in the UK. At the pevious round, Ian Campbell secured the BRCA 1:8 Junior title with his Serpent 960.

Richard and Tim's 2006 campaign was powered by MEGA engines running on Elite Power Racing Fuel.

Hicklin will have little time to celebrate his National title as this weekend he travels to Lisbon in Portugal to lead Team GB in its defence of the Serpent Nations Cup title.
