Race 4 of the Forgass Florida State Series, held at Homestead RC Speedway over the weekend, saw Team Serpent USA complete a fantastic double, winning both the 1:10 Sedan and 1:8 Open events.

With no less than eight Serpent 720/Mega combinations making up the 12 car 1:10 A Main grid it was D.J. Apolaro who took the win.  Driving his MF version Mega, Apolaro led home fellow Serpent racer Danny Horta, who was using a ZX version Mega power unit, to give Serpent/Mega a superb 1-2 finish.

The Serpent team was to repeat the 1:10 success in the 1:8 Open final with leading US international racer Scotty Gray leading home team-mate Paolo Morganti to win by just over a second after 142 laps.  Using the new MF engine from Mega, the pair were the class of the field finishing 6 laps ahead of the third place driver.
