The first Serpent Nitro Tour of the 2007 season took place over the weekend in Bangkok, Thailand, with a massive 140 racers taking part in the hugely successful event.


In 1:8th it was Japanese 1:10th National Champion Tadahiko Sahashi who steered his 960 to victory at the Srinakarin track.  He beat Top Qualifier & Serpent Factory team driver Michael Salven while his older brother Yuya Sahashi completed the podium.

In 1:10th, local r/c racing star and 2002 Electro Touring Car World Champion Surikarn Chaidejsuriya took the win.  Run over two stages, Surikarn won both final encounters to take victory by a lap from fellow countyman Meen V. with Hongkong visitor Chui Kai Leung taking third.  Top Qualifier Suruth V had a DNF in the opening stage and failed to make the start of leg 2.
