Serpent TQ at FEMCA Qualifier in Singapore (13/02/2007)

The first qualifying race for the FEMCA Championship took place in Singapore recently and the Serpent 960 proved itself as the fastest car.
In qualifying Sam Cheng TQ'd his RB powered example while Jesse Wu clocked the fastest lap of the event to break the track record with a time of 17.6 seconds.
Making the most of his pole position start, Cheng took the early lead in the main final however at the 4 minute mark he suffered a flame out ending what had looked like being the start to his 2007 campaign.
In the end Cheng was classified seventh but a strong performance by Niko Cheng ensured Serpent still claimed a podium finish.
This year's FEMCA Championship will take place in Indonesia.
