Serpent drivers dominate State Series encounter (07/03/2007)

The Kissimmee track hosted the sixth round of the Forgass Florida State Series over the weekend where Serpent drivers dominated racing.

In 1:10 Danny Horta headed home fellow Serpent 720 racer D.J. Apolaro to give the Mega ZX powered pairing a superb 1-2 result. Horta's win reversed the result of the fourth round of the series when Apolaro won at Homestead RC Speedway ahead of Horta.

In 1:8 young talent Scotty Grey, a member of the Serpent Driver Development program, took top honours with his Serpent 960 ahead of Team Serpent USA team-mate Paolo Morganti who last month won the Florida Winternats in 1:10.
