Fiorano plays host to Italian Nitro Tour (20/03/2007)

Serpent's Nitro Tour travels to Italy this weekend (23-25 March) with the 'Jody Scheckter' track at Fiorano playing host to the extremely popular event that will see a host of star drivers on hand to offer technical assistance to the large gathering of Serpent racers in attendance.

European Champion Fabio Domanin, Massimo Fantini and EC-B 1:8 Champion Andrea Cristiani together with staff from Serpent's Italian distributor Sprint RC will support this exciting three day event.

Friday is set aside as a practice day at the famous Italian circuit which is located not to far from Ferrari's F1 test track. Further practice is scheduled for Saturday morning followed by the first 2 of the 4 qualifying heats.

In preparation for the busy Sunday program, Sprint RC are putting on a 'Serpent Italian Brunch' before track action resumes with the final two qualifying heats to decide the grids for Sunday evening's finals.

With a free gift pack for all competitors, there are also two Serpents kits and Max engines up for grabs as part of the generous prizes offering for the lucky draw.

A number of product demonstrations will also take place over the weekend including the first public running of the exciting new Serpent F180 formula car that goes on sale next month.
