Important Roeselare podium for Nick Cuijpers (24/04/2007)

The opening round of the Belgian 1:10 National Championships took place over the weekend and Nick Cuijpers ensured a podium finish for Serpent on the Roeselare track.

Nick who is the brother of Serpent Factory driver Steven Cuijpers, qualified second for the final and conituned his blistering pace in the 30 minute final setting the fastest lap of the race with his Mega powered 720 enroute to a strong 2nd place behind Wartelle Sebastian.

An important race from his Belgian Championship campaign, the Roeselare event was also an important test for Nick as he makes his preparations for the upcoming EFRA European 1:10 B Championship which are to be hosted by the track on the 4-6 May.
